In Chinese Medicine, it is the liver that is the organ responsible for sleep. The fewer stresses on the liver, the easier it will be to get to sleep and stay asleep. One major aggravant on the liver is exposure to electromagnetic frequencies at night. This means a cell phone, or computer, ipad, or router. One simple thing to do is to switch off your cell phone at night, or keep it on airplane mode. Completely shut down any computers or iPads at night.
Where is the router for your house? Is it in the bedroom, or just on the other side of the wall? If so, switch that off at night as well. Find the electric smart meter for your house. Is it just outside or below your bedroom? If so, buy a smart meter cover and cover it. All of these devices are harmful to the liver, and the nervous system as well, and can greatly be reduced with just a flick of a switch. This should greatly reduce, if not eliminate insomnia.
