Help for thrombocytopenia is available! What is thrombocytopenia? It is a dangerous medical condition resulting in poor clotting of wounds. This condition can lead to extreme blood loss from a simple cut. MDs claim this condition is caused by the immune system attacking its own platelets, and have no real long term solutions for it.
The standard treatment they give is using steroids to dampen the immune system’s activity. Unfortunately, steroids have side effects, cannot be taken long term, and the condition returns after steroid treatment is over. More extreme measures include platelet transfusion, plasma exchange, and surgery to remove the spleen. None of these interventions address the underlying causes of this condition.
So how does Nutritional Analysis identify the underlying cause of thrombocytopenia, and increase platelet levels?
Using applied kinesiology, we determine which organ(s) are most compromised in regards to platelet production or function. For instance, it may be the kidneys, where platelets are made, or the liver, where the hormone that stimulates platelet production is made, or the spleen where platelets are stored and filtered.
Next we test to determine what are the primary stressors creating inflammation and dysfunction in that organ(s). Perhaps it is a strong food sensitivity, such as wheat. Or a toxicity, such as arsenic or a pesticide. Or perhaps a parasite or yeast. Or a key mineral deficiency. It could be any of these, but what I have found is that in most cases, it is a toxicity that is creating the inflammation in that organ, causing dysfunction.
The most common toxicities that create platelet issues are arsenic, cadmium, or lead as they do tend to collect in the kidneys, liver, and spleen. These metals are commonly found in rice products, pea protein, old paint, shellfish, secondhand smoke, well water, and other sources. And the exposure could have happened earlier on a person’s life, but just manifesting symptoms now
From there, we can test for what to do about the issue – be it detox supplementations, exposures to avoid, minerals to include in the diet, or whatever else is needed. The affected organ(s) start to repair themselves, and proper function is restored. This need not take years, it can usually happen within a few months. In addition, once the root caused is addressed, a person does not have to worry that the condition will come back – and even if it does, they have the tools of how to handle it.
